thing to note is that the message displayed by C4D includes the plugin ID.

Throughout these processes i see numerous bugs/inconveniences in the design of how the various elements of the BMD software/hardware ecosystem interact with one another totally not friendly/hot-swappable/2014 as my first experience with BMD, i'm a bit in disbelief. automating the animation process Explore over 36 Millumin is doing this. in BMD Media Express, i set the project prefs to 1080i 60, save project, close and open project again the settings are saved under Devices the right device is shown i try capture: no video.

BMD gives a different driver/source for every scan rate & resolution combination. "-Secondly that you are selecting the right "driver" in your software. I've tried these tests on two laptops, no luck. Millennium Mat Company is an equal opportunity. I've tried restarting and trying again also, no luck. After changing to HDMI, however, still no video. The inputs in the sys prefs were indeed incorrectly set to SDI. I tried what you suggested with the system preferences for both the Mini Recorder and the Express.

Where the problems reported in this thread ever resolved? I notice one difference in the way the DON'T work when i plug in the hdmi to the Mini Recorder, my NEX-5's LCD goes off (as it does when it gets plugged into a monitor, which works fine) with the Express, the NEX-5's LCD doesn't even go off I've tried other resolutions also (every other one possible actually). I'm also trying it in envionrments like Millumin, and while the source is recognized, no capture.
THE MILLUMIN MESSAGE SOFTWARE
I have the latest software as of today, both devices are recognized by Blackmagic Media Express or Black Syphon, but neither can capture no image ever. I'm trying to get HDMI from a Sony NEX-5 (1080i 60) in with an UltraStudio Mini Recorder, and/or an UltraStudio Express. If the MIDI data stream is running close to capacity, the MTC data may arrive a lit.I'm testing HDMI input on two different macbook pros: The quarter-frame messages are transmitted in a sequence of eight messages, thus a complete timecode value is specified every two frames.
THE MILLUMIN MESSAGE CODE
There is no provision for the user bits in the standard MIDI time code messages, and SysEx messages are used to carry this information instead.
THE MILLUMIN MESSAGE SERIES
MIDI time code (MTC) embeds the same timing information as standard SMPTE timecode as a series of small 'quarter-frame' MIDI messages.
THE MILLUMIN MESSAGE FULL
So it might be that those two programs react differently to a Full frame message, or Quarter frame message en. MIDI timecode Information says that Quarter frames should be used to send running time position, while Full Frame is supposed to be used as seeking:Īccording to the info in these websites, the message is correct and sends the frame rate as 25FPS (even though the javascript code is misleading since it indicates that 2 equals 25FPS and that is only true because it multiplies by 16 instead of 32) It corresponds to the Full Frame Message (not the Quarter Frame message). The message that is sent when receiving a change of playposition is this one:
THE MILLUMIN MESSAGE GENERATOR
I couldn’t get Chataigne working with the MTC output of MIXXX, it was suggested that i would try to use a different MTC source (used TimecodeClock, LTC/MTC generator / Millumin :: Help ) and know I am a bit confused because I don’t know which one of the two Programms is causing the problem. I have already opened a Thread in the Chataigne forum Link to my Post.
